Personal Information
By participating in private consultations with The Pet Girl, you thereby agree to the terms and conditions set out in this document. The Training Agreement must be dated, signed, and approved by The Pet Girl prior to your dog’s first session.
Booking Procedure
When making a private training booking, The Pet Girl requires the client’s full name, address, contact details such as contact telephone number and email address. Bookings may be made via email, or website enquiry:

The Pet Girl reserves the right to refuse training services to any animal deemed not suitable for private training.
Cancellations
When cancelling any private session with The Pet Girl, 48 hours’ notice is to be given. If a booking is cancelled within 48 hours, a 50% deposit is to be paid to The Pet Girl and is nonrefundable. Cancellations must be received in writing via text message or email.
Equipment
In order for The Pet Girl to make an accurate training assessment, all walking equipment should be bought along the first Initial Training Assessment. This includes any collars, harnesses, halties, correction collars, leads etc.
After the initial training assessment, any equipment used during training must be approved by The Pet Girl.
The owner should also bring along a treat pouch, snap lock bag of soft and hard treats, and any toys that the animal likes. If the session in not at the owner’s home, the owner should bring poo bags and water for the animal.
Clothing
When attending any training sessions with The Pet Girl, the owner should wear appropriate clothing for dog training. This includes pants, closed in shoes and the removal of any jewelry or fashion items that may prevent training.
Your Private Session
Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the commencement of your session. Have an open mind and be prepared to work hard.
Private Consultation Options
Initial Training Assessment
Prior to commencing any private training sessions, an Initial Training Assessment will be conducted. This session will run for a minimum of 60 minutes and no longer than 90 minutes and costs $150.00 AUD which is payable when booking the session and is nonrefundable. The purpose of the Initial Training Assessment is for The Pet Girl to establish if the animal is suitable for training conducted by The Pet Girl. Should the animal not be deemed suitable, The Pet Girl will provide at least one (1) additional training contact. The Initial Training Assessment is to be conducted in the owner’s residence with preferably the whole family present.
Follow Up Private Training Sessions
Follow Up Private Training Sessions are only to be conducted following the completion of an Initial Training Assessment. This session will run for a minimum of 60 minutes at a rate of $80.00 AUD per hour, which is payable when booking the session and is non refundable.
All training advice is specific the animal receiving training and is not general in nature. Training results will differ from animal to animal. Whilst The Pet Girl will provide the best possible training advice, the training result is never 100% guaranteed. If training results are not achieved, it is to the discretion of The Pet Girl whether a refund will be provided.
It is expected that the owner will work on any advice or homework given between sessions to optimize the end result.
Starter Training Package
The Starter Training Package includes the Initial Training Assessment and two (2) Follow Up Private Training Sessions. The cost of the package is $300.00 AUD and is payable at the time making the booking. All sessions must be redeemed within 30 days of making the initial booking.
If The Pet Girl deems the animal not suitable for training, the two Follow Up Private Training Sessions will be refunded at a total refund of $150.00 AUD. The same terms and conditions apply for all sessions as set out in the Initial Training Assessment and Follow Up Private Training Sessions.
Puppy Development Pack
The Puppy Development Pack includes an Initial Training Assessment (Meet and Greet) and three (3) Follow Up Private Training Sessions.
The cost of the package is $360.00 AUD. All sessions must be redeemed within 50 days of making the initial booking.
If The Pet Girl deems the animal not suitable for training, the three Follow Up Private Training Sessions will be refunded at a total refund of $210.00 AUD. The same terms and conditions apply for all sessions as set out in the Initial Training Assessment and Follow Up Private Training Sessions.
Liability
The Client understands that if the dog causes property damage, or bites or injures any dog, animal or person, during or after the term of this agreement, then the Client agrees to pay all resulting losses and damages suffered or incurred.
The Client understands that if the dog is injured in a fight or in any other manner during or after the term of the Agreement, the Client assumes the risk and agrees that The Pet Girl should not be held responsible for any resulting injuries, losses, damages, costs or expenses.
The Client acknowledges that any training of the dog(s) comes with potential risks to themselves and others, and acknowledges that The Pet Girl has not represented, promised, guaranteed, or warranted that the dog(s) will never bite, that the dog(s) does not have the potential to be dangerous in the future, that the dog(s) will not exhibit other behavioural problems, or that the results of the training will last indefinitely or for any particular amount of time.
The Client understands and assumes responsibility for the risk of any personal injuries they sustain while carrying out the training methods/techniques taught, and do not hold The Pet Girl accountable in any way for injuries they may sustain.
The Client further acknowledges that dog(s) may be exposed to a variety of environmental conditions which include, but are not limited to, vehicular traffic, interaction with people and other animals, exposure to adverse weather, and exposure to areas with crowds and all types of traffic.
The Pet Girl is not liable under these Terms for non-performance caused by events or conditions beyond the The Pet Girl’s control. This provision does not relieve the Client of its obligation to fulfill payment obligations.
Travel
The Pet Girl reserves the right to charge an additional travel fee for long distance consultations. A $10.00 travel expense each way will be applied to any job north of Nerang or South of Coolangatta.
Consent to use photographs
The Client consents and grants its permission to The Pet Girl to use photographs and names of the Client’s animal(s) and any related training information in any promotional material, including but not limited to the The Pet Girl’s website, social media and newsletters.
General
By accessing, browsing or using this Web Site, you agree to these terms, conditions and disclaimers as amended from time to time (“Terms & Conditions”) and acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions. By purchasing an item from this Web Site you expressly agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Communications
The Pet Girl uses personally identifiable information for essential communications, such as emails, SMS, and customer service details. The Pet Girl may also use this information for other purposes, including promotional Emails, SMS order reminders, newsletters and offers.
If at any time the Client does not wish to receive such correspondence, the Client can request to be removed from any mailing lists by unsubscribing or emailing us at [email protected]
Legal
The Pet Girl reserve the right to disclose the Client’s personal identifiable information as required by law and when the Pet Girl believes that disclosure is necessary to protect The Pet Girl’s rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Website, then information will be released.
